• Storage Conditions: Store at 4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.

• Specificity: This item is polyvalent for Shigella antigens. Shigella sp. are non spore forming, rod shaped bacteria, the causitive agent of Shigellosis in man. The genus is closely related to Escherichia coli and Salmonella. The antibody preparation has not been cross absorbed and is likely to react with closely related Enterobacteriaceae
