Anti-TAB3 Antibody Picoband®, Cy3 Conjugate
- Background: The product of this gene functions in the NF-kappaB signal transduction pathway. The encoded protein, and the similar and functionally redundant protein MAP3K7IP2/TAB2, forms a ternary complex with the protein kinase MAP3K7/TAK1 and either TRAF2 or TRAF6 in response to stimulation with the pro-inflammatory cytokines TNF or IL-1. Subsequent MAP3K7/TAK1 kinase activity triggers a signaling cascade leading to activation of the NF-kappaB transcription factor. The human genome contains a related pseudogene. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described, but their biological validity has not been determined.
- Description: Boster Bio Anti-TAB3 Antibody Picoband® catalog # A05084-3. Tested in ELISA, Flow Cytometry, WB applications. This antibody reacts with Human. The brand Picoband indicates this is a premium antibody that guarantees superior quality, high affinity, and strong signals with minimal background in Western blot applications. Only our best-performing antibodies are designated as Picoband, ensuring unmatched performance.

- Immunogen: E.coli-derived human TAB3 recombinant protein (Position: R70-D656).
- Clonality: Polyclonal
- Tissue Specificity: Expressed in heart, brain, placenta, ovary and small intestine. Isoform Short is found in the ovary.
- Applications: WB,Flow Cytometry,ELISA
- Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
- Concentration: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
- Form: Lyophilized
- Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
- Function: Endopeptidase that degrades various components of the extracellular matrix, such as collagen type III and fibronectin. Activates progelatinase A. Involved in the matrix remodeling of blood vessels. Isoform short cleaves fibronectin and also collagen type III, but at lower rate. It has no effect on type I, II, IV and V collagen. However, upon interaction with CSPG4, it may be involved in degradation and invasion of type I collagen by melanoma cells.
- Components: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.
