Anti-Glycerol kinase/GK Antibody Picoband®, Biotin Conjugate

  • Background: Glycerol kinase is a phosphotransferase enzyme involved in triglycerides and glycerophospholipids synthesis. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the FGGY kinase family. This protein is a key enzyme in the regulation of glycerol uptake and metabolism. It catalyzes the phosphorylation of glycerol by ATP, yielding ADP and glycerol-3-phosphate. Mutations in this gene are associated with glycerol kinase deficiency (GKD). Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
  • Description: Boster Bio Anti-Glycerol kinase/GK Antibody Picoband® catalog # A02884-1. Tested in ELISA, IHC, WB applications. This antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat. The brand Picoband indicates this is a premium antibody that guarantees superior quality, high affinity, and strong signals with minimal background in Western blot applications. Only our best-performing antibodies are designated as Picoband, ensuring unmatched performance.
