Anti-CD8B (Cytotoxic / Suppressor T-Cell Marker)(CBB/1595), CF640R conjugate
- Description: The CD8 beta chain associates with the CD8 alpha chain to form the CD8 alpha/beta heterodimer expressed on the surface of a majority of thymocytes, and on peripheral cytotoxic alpha beta TCR T cells. This monoclonal antibody identifies cytotoxic/suppressor T-cells that interact with MHC class I bearing targets. CD8 is thought to play a role in the process of T-cell mediated killing.Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF® Dyes and other labels. CF® Dyes offer exceptional brightness and photostability. Note: Conjugates of blue fluorescent dyes like CF®405S and CF®405M are not recommended for detecting low abundance targets, because blue dyes have lower fluorescence and can give higher non-specific background than other dye colors.
- Synonyms: CD8 antigen 37kDa chain; CD8 antigen; beta chain; CD8 antigen; beta polypeptide 1 (p37); CD8 antigen; beta polypeptide 1; CD8B; LEU2; LYT3; OX 8 membrane antigen; p37; T cell surface glycoprotein CD8 beta chain
