HAT1 (KAT1), FLAG-Tag Recombinant
Background:
HAT1 (histone acetyltransferase 1), also known as KAT1, regulates chromatin structure, mitochondrial function, and DNA repair. HAT1 acetylates newly synthesized histones in the cytoplasm and succinylates histones and non-histone proteins. The epigenetic regulation activity of this protein is involved in a wide variety of diseases such as cancer, inflammatory diseases, and viral infections. The development of inhibitors targeting HAT1 may open new therapeutic avenues in those disorders.Description:
Recombinant human full-length HAT1 (histone acetyltransferase 1), also known as KAT1, amino acids 2-419 (end) . This construct contains an N-terminal FLAG-tag. The recombinant protein was affinity purified.UniProt:
