  Recognizes an epitope that is present on human C3, C3a and C3a (desArg). Does not cross-react with C4a or C5a. Recognizes a different epitope on the 9kD C3a than C7850-13J. Effectively inhibits the biological activitiy of C3a in a guinea-pig platelet activation assay.
