Anti-Dicer/DICER1 Antibody Picoband®
- Background: Dicer(DICER1), also known as endoribonuclease Dicer or helicase with RNase motif, is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the DICER1 gene. It is mapped to 14q32.13. The DICER1 gene, a member of the ribonuclease III (RNaseIII) family, is involved in the generation of microRNAs (miRNAs), which modulate gene expression at the posttranscriptional level. DICER1 possesses an RNA helicase motif containing a DEXH box in its amino terminus and an RNA motif in the carboxy terminus DICER, also known as helicase-MOI, is required by the RNA interference and small temporal RNA (stRNA) pathways to produce the active small RNA component that represses gene expression. In addition, DICER1 is required for formation of the RNA induced silencing complex (RISC). It also cleaves double-stranded RNA to produce short interfering RNAs (siRNAs) which target the selective destruction of complementary RNAs.
- Description: Boster Bio Anti-Dicer/DICER1 Antibody Picoband® catalog # A00190-2. Tested in ELISA, Flow Cytometry, IF, ICC, WB applications. This antibody reacts with Human, Mouse. The brand Picoband indicates this is a premium antibody that guarantees superior quality, high affinity, and strong signals with minimal background in Western blot applications. Only our best-performing antibodies are designated as Picoband, ensuring unmatched performance.

- Tissue Specificity: Hematopoietic stem and progenitor cell- enriched populations. Found in brain, placenta and testis.
- Applications: WB,ICC,IF,Flow Cytometry,ELISA
- Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
- Concentration: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
- Form: Lyophilized
- Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
- Function: Tyrosine-protein kinase that acts as cell-surface receptor for the cytokine FLT3LG and regulates differentiation, proliferation and survival of hematopoietic progenitor cells and of dendritic cells. Promotes phosphorylation of SHC1 and AKT1, and activation of the downstream effector MTOR. Promotes activation of RAS signaling and phosphorylation of downstream kinases, including MAPK1/ERK2 and/or MAPK3/ERK1. Promotes phosphorylation of FES, FER, PTPN6/SHP, PTPN11/SHP-2, PLCG1, and STAT5A and/or STAT5B. Activation of wild-type FLT3 causes only marginal activation of STAT5A or STAT5B. Mutations that cause constitutive kinase activity promote cell proliferation and resistance to apoptosis via the activation of multiple signaling pathways.
- Components: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.

- Storage Conditions: At -20℃ for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4℃ for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20℃ for six months. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Observed Molecular Weight: 220-250 kDa
- Fragment: Rabbit IgG
- Applications Notes: Western blot, 0.25-0.5 μg/ml, Human, Mouse
Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence, 5 μg/ml, Human
Flow Cytometry (Fixed), 1-3 μg/1x106 cells, Human
ELISA, 0.1-0.5 μg/ml, - - Subcellular Location: Membrane; Constitutively activated mutant forms with internal tandem duplications are less efficiently transported to the cell surface and a significant proportion is retained in an immature form in the endoplasmic reticulum lumen. The activated kinase is rapidly targeted for degradation (By similarity). .
