  Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 °C. Stable for 12 months at -20 °C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 °C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. 

• Specificity:

  Recognizes human beta-2 microglobulin. A single precipitin line is obtained with fetal serum, colostrum and selected pathological plasma and urine containing high levels of beta-2 microglobulin in bidimensional electrophoresis, immunoelectrophoresis and double radial immunodiffusion (Ouchterlony) which shows a reaction of full identity with the purified immunogen. Does not crossreact with any other human plasma proteins.
