Summary of the Benefits of Enhanced
Autoradiography.
1.
Tritium(3H)
has always been the isotope of choice for both research, and routine
laboratory use, but it has always been the most difficult to detect.
Enhanced Autoradiography solves the detection problem. A revolution is now
possible which will effect many branches of science.
2.
Enhanced
Autoradiography substantially reduces the time interval between an
experiment or procedure being performed and the results being obtained.
3.
The
process is in general non-destructive of the sample, so further analysis can
be performed on the same sample.
4.
The
invention allows the accurate quantitation of radioactivity particularly
that of tritium(3H) which currently is not possible.
5.
High cost
equipment, with high cost consumables and maintenance are not required.
Equipment found in most laboratories, an oven and refrigerator, are all that
are required in addition to the EA-Wax. This of course means that Enhanced
Autoradiography will open doors, to research and routine science, in the
Third World countries as well as developed countries.
6.
The
materials used in Enhanced Autoradiography are low cost and environmentally
friendly. They are also inherently safe to handle, store, transport and
dispose of.
7.
The final
method of detection is X-ray film, which gives the highest possible
resolution. |
