RB0381-0382

Host:
Rabbit

Reactivity:
human

Buffers:
Purified rabbit polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein G column and eluted out with both high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately after elution then followed by dialysis against PBS.

Maintain refrigerated at 2-8ºC for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20ºC. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Application:
Tested by peptide-specific ELISA (1:1,000).

Immunogen:
KLH conjugated synthetic peptide comprised of amino acids 767 - 781 [CPPNKPAESVQSNNS] of the human non-receptor type 22 protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTPN22) protein.
Accession number:
NM_015967
Description:
Following activation of T cells, phosphorylation of tyrosine residues occurs through a complex signaling process involving protein tyrosine kinases, phosphatases, and a variety of adapter molecules including Grb2. The non-receptor type 22 protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTPN22) is an enzyme which associates with the molecular adapter protein CBL and may be involved in regulating CBL function in the T-cell receptor signaling pathway. PTPN22 contains three SH3 domains and a PTB domain binding motif, and it is primarily expressed in lymphoid tissues.
Alternative Name(s):
LYP, Lyp, Lyp1, Lyp2, protein tyrosine phosphatase homolog, lymphoid-specific protein tyrosine phosphatase
